On the Service Overlay Network Concept for End-to-End QoS Assurances

This deliverable summarizes our recent research results on the topic of service overlay networks, an innovative concept for end-to-end QoS assurance. It reports the research contributions we have achieved during the last period, including i) a technical overview and evaluations of existing architectures for end-to-end QoS with special focus on the overlay network solution, ii) our scientific contributions towards optimal operation of the overlay networks, iii) an outlook on economic potential and research challenges in the context of end-to-end QoS overlay networks.
